Small business is the backbone of America. Stratum Insurance Agency LLC is dedicated to helping small businesses.

Our agency is here to help small businesses.  From one-person enterprises to multiple employees and offices, the team understands the needs of a small business.  When a business starts, the owner often finds himself or herself wearing many hats, from accountant to salesman, to officer manager.  While other agents many turn their heads at small accounts, we are excited to see new businesses and small companies that will one day grow. We sell commercial policies for home-based businesses, office-based, industrial, and retail locations.

As your needs change, we can help find new insurance to cover potential risks.  We are here for you and look forward to having you as a member of our family of clients.  Let's grow together.

For commercial insurance clients, we sell a large variety of insurance products including general liability, professional liability, cyber liability insurance, crime insurance, surety bonds, and more. We understand that small businesses are the backbone of our country, and are happy to help start-ups and even one-person companies.

Have you every heard called a ANOTHER insurance agency tell you that your company is too small for them to help? You will not hear that at our agency.  While other agents many turn their heads at small accounts, we are excited to see new businesses and small companies that may one day blossom.

Many of our small business clients can benefit from access to loss control services, risk management services, and tips that are provided by the carriers with which we work.  The library of resources that are available to many clients is simply amazing.

The agency principal is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.

Why should I use Stratum Insurance Agency?

We understand the value of your time, which is why we are usually able to obtain same-day quotes for most professions.

You give your customers a level of service that you expect to receive, and that's what you see at Stratum Insurance Agency LLC.

Our team is here to explain to you many of the intricate details of a policy and coverages with which you may not be familiar. Feel free to ask us questions.

There is much more to an insurance quote and policy than what you see on the first page.

  • Do you know the exclusions on your policy?
  • Is your E&O policy just an extensions added to the general liability or is it a full professional liability policy?
  • Is coverage limited to a specific location?  Do you have a designated premises clause?
  • Are additional insureds included or do you have to pay each time you need to add one?
  • Do you know if employee theft is covered or excluded?

Just because you see two quotes that show the same coverages on the one or two page quote, this does not mean that they are the same. Not all insurance policies are created equally, which is why we work with many top-rated carriers for both personal and business insurance -- to help find that balance of price and coverage that is right for you.

At Stratum Insurance Agency, our team takes the time to understand your needs and the policies that we sell.

Let's look at an example:

Perhaps you are a dog groomer and your landlord is requesting that you purchase general liability insurance. You might see that you have coverage for bodily injury and property damage and think that you are covered for injuring an animal.  Did you know that you also needed to purchase professional liability and animal baillee coverage to protect yourself in the event of a claim?  Did you buy the right policy?  Was coverage for injuries to animals excluded?

Disclaimer: This is just an example and no coverage is issued or should be assumed by this example.  Each policy is unique and you should contact your agent for details on your coverage.
